Early Summer 2011 - 21 months

Zoe had a checkup yesterday - she really seems to do better with a male doctor than a female one. We've had far less fits and screaming. She had a bad fall onto the back of her head last week, but the doc doesn't think it did any damage. What a relief!

Who is this big girl? Mommy cut bangs into her hair and she suddenly looks years older.

The doctor seemed particularly impressed with her language and social development (her vocabulary is off the charts; she can identify and recite all letters, as well as recognize multiple words) and asked if there were any early readers in the family. (As I write this she is sitting with her books saying, "...C-O-L-O-R-S is COLORS! B-U-B-B-L-E-S is BUBBLES!...")

One thing's for sure - Baby Brother will most certainly know Zoe's voice above all others...she is perpetually crawling on Mommy's tummy and talking.
